An in-depth examination of some of the teachings of the Ba'al HaSulam (Master of the Ladder) Rabbi Yehuda Lev Ashlag and the RaMChaL (Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzato), with insights from the Chassidic Masters. This course will include some of the best kept secrets of the Universe!  Sam will help us to change the way we think about many aspects of the Torah and in particular the inner dimension of Torah.

You will begin to learn what is meant by the “Inner Wisdom” and the “Inner Soul” of the Torah. In this study, of one will find their inner being advancing in spiritually growth toward the “Wisdom of the Torah” and toward G-d.

 

Rav Yehuda Lev Ashlag, peace upon him, states, "One may not know that the holy Torah, of whose virtue there is no end, did not originate before G-d in the form in which it appears in this world. It is known that "the Torah and G-d are One", but we cannot see this in the Torah of this world at all. We can't see in the garments of the Torah in this world, how G-d and the Torah are One in this world of garments. Not only that, but for one who practices Torah not for its own sake, the Torah can even become a drug of death. In other words, if one practices Torah to gain in this world and not for its own sake, it can become a drug of death.

“In the beginning, when the Torah was formed before G-d, it came forth in the highest degree of perfection and it embodied the aspect of unity of the Torah and G-d in actuality.” (Why is it not stated that G-d created the Torah? Because the Torah is the mind of G-d, One in the same. “It was necessary to come into form so that it could be appended by others. Where it could be seen and taught to all mankind... This is called the Torah of the world of Atzilut, of which it is written, ‘He and His life-force and His vessels are One.’ Then the Torah went forth from G-d and underwent many contractions, stage after stage, until it was given on Mount Sinai to Moshe in the form that we recognize in this world; enclothed in the coarse garments of this world.”

Shmuel "Sam" Peak is a Jewish Torah student and teacher. He is "simply a Jew" and resists all other labels. He has been teaching Torah and leadingteaching tours to Israel for 25 years, including a popular 7 year program called "Biblical Faith" broadcast on GLC-TV in West, Central and North Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and satellite. He is also a co-founder of the Universal Torah Network on the Internet with his teacher Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem.
