Over the past two months Noahide Nations along with other Noahide organizations as well as the individuals involved with the organizations have come under needless fire from Frances Marakova of Rachav's B'nai Noah web site and Yahoo Group along with Pam Roger and Nancy January of the Oklahoma B'nai Noach Society for something that we had no control over. As you know these individuals have tried to discredit Noahide Nations and others to try and turn Noahides away from our organizations and its events, to this very day. This update will provide the most credible information you can find. Please check back with Noahide Nations as we continue our work toward the goal of achieving our own NTEE Code for Noahide organizations.

1. As I have stated before there where no mistakes in our Form 1023 (501 (c) 3 application) or our supporting documents and Central Texas Noahide Center dba Noahide Nations was indeed misclassified as evidenced by the apology letter from the Program Director of the National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS) at the Urban Institute. The Urban Institute is a partner with the IRS and The Foundation Center for the purpose of maintaining the tax exempt organizations database and of course the NTEE Classification Codes that were used to accuse myself, Noahides Nations and others of being an “XTIAN ORGS POSING AS CHRISTIANS” in an attempt to discredit true Noahides and the upcoming Noahide World Conference.

2. After reviewing our documents and as a result of their error Director Tom Pollak personally reclassified Central Texas Noahide Center dba Noahide Nations to X30 – Judaism. My apologies, as I was unable to establish our own Noahide NTEE classification at this time. I am continuing to work toward that goal.I was able to get the word Noahide added to the keywords section for X30-Judaism. I have been asked and have agreed to compile a list of additional keywords to identify Noahide organizations.

4. The complete list of keywords will be submitted and then entered into the classification database and then added to the reprint of the “National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities-Core Codes, 2007 Desk Reference Manual” which is published by the National Center of Charitable Statistics for use by the Classifiers of all three agencies.I have been asked and have agreed to provide a 1-2 sentence description of Noahide for the Scope section for X30 – Judaism to help agents better identify and correctly classify Noahide organizations.

6. National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities-Core Codes, 2007 Desk Reference Manual”  for the next reprint.I have been asked and have agreed to have Noahide Nations act as a liaison between Noahide organizations and the government in getting their X classification changed if they so desire. I can begin to submit these organizations names immediately. I have already had three Noahide organizations request a change in their X Code status.  We know there are more out there so please contact me for details on the reclassification. I have advised Director Pollak that I am prepared to work with him, for years if necessary, to achieve a separate NTEE Code for Noahides.

7. He has agreed to work with me to that end. In my discussions with Director Pollak I shared with him how these NTEE Codes and other documents provided by the IRS, The Urban Institute and GuideStar were used against us. His response was quite shocking when he said that in all the years he had been working with NCCS, of which he is now the Director, never had he seen or heard of any information provided by NCCS, the IRS, etc. used in such a destructive fashion, until now. He continued by saying that this information is not being provided by any agency for these types of purposes. It is a complete misuse of the information. All I could think was “what a sad commentary on Noahides.  Wasn't this a wonderful introduction to our belief system".
   

8. So the three people responsible for misusing this information can all be very proud of themselves as they have made history. I assured Mr. Pollak that it was only a small group of people who had done this and should not be a reflection on the character of all Noahides. We have made tremendous strides, to date, for the recognition of Noahides at the Federal level of the U.S. Government. However, these are just the initial steps to ultimately obtaining our own Noahide NTEE Code Classification.
